Symptoms

The Content Studio event log is filled with errors from Events Actions. Error messages like  "Error id: 2514" or "Error id: 2515" appears.

Cause

This error appears most likely because of an upgrade of MS XML 4 to SP 2 or an upgrade of Windows 2003 Server to SP 1. This can also happen if you install or upgrade a third party program which depends on MS XML 4.0 SP 2. e.g. “Veritas Backup Exec“

Both of the above updates changes some security flaws that exist on the operating system but it can also break the compatibility for other applications. One of this that Content Studio is depending on is to allow MS XML 4.0 to do a submit of noencrypted form data.
